"__?__"  indicates name was illegible.

R 9 - T/5 Ray W. Fink - photos of him at Photos from the Italian Front and nd Good Conduct Medal.
FR 8 -  1st Lt Roy G. Kitts - story of him at Stories from the Front.
FR 19 - 1st Lt William E. Sullivan, was from Mize, MS and was Dad's commanding officer.  They kept in touch for many years until his death.  More on him at Photos from the Italian Front and Stories from the Front and Purple Heart Order #9.

Thanks to Charles Bauch for the identification of the men in the photo.  His father, 1st Sgt Erich Bauch, had collected the signature of every soldier in the photo soon after the photo was taken at Fort Dix.  Some names are questionable(__?___) because the signatures were illegible.  Some names were partially illegible, but their complete name and rank was identified through my records of the 328th FA Battalion obtained from the National Archives.

Details of each Composite Due to the large format, the photo was divided into 4 composites.
